Extended Day Services (EDS) is a non-profit PA Corporation dedicated to providing Before and After School Programs, Kindergarten-Plus Programs and Full-Day Summer Camps in many Pittsburgh area school districts.
Extended Day Services (EDS) began in 1991 in response to a need from working families for a quality before and after school program for their children in the Upper St. Clair School District. Since that time, we have grown to include serving the families of the Peters Township School District, the South Fayette School District, the Chartiers Valley School District, the Beaver Area School District and the South Park School District.
In 1994, our families expressed the need for a full-day summer camp for their children that would include an entire day from 7:00 AM though 6:00 PM to accommodate the needs of working families. EDS responded by developing a full day summer camp including field trips, weekly swim trips and a variety of enrichment classes ranging in topic from athletics to cooking to art to drama. |
