Extended Day Services - South Fayette

Before and After School Program
During the school year, our before and after school program is located in the South Fayette Elementary School. We operate from 7:00 AM until the beginning of the school day at 9:00 AM. After school we operate from the end of the middle school day at 2:45 PM until 6:00 PM. Middle school students are escorted to and from the middle school by an EDS teacher.

Kindergarten-Plus (K-Plus) Program
Due to space constraints at the elementary school, EDS has a K-Plus classroom next door in the South Fayette Middle School. K-Plus students are escorted to and from the middle school by a K-Plus teacher.

Children enrolled in morning kindergarten may attend the K-Plus afternoon program while children enrolled in afternoon kindergarten may attend the K-Plus morning program. In South Fayette, the morning K-Plus program runs from 9:00 AM through 12:55 PM and the afternoon K-Plus program runs from 11:40 AM thorugh 3:20 PM. Both morning and afternoon K-Plus programs eat lunch in the cafeteria at the elementary school with their K-Plus teachers.

Summer Camp
During the summer months, EDS holds summer camp at the South Fayette Elementary School. We operate from 7:00 AM through 6:00 PM. Due to school district building closures, summer camp on Fridays is held at Chartiers Valley Primary School on Thoms Run Road.
