In addition to the specific K-Plus programming questions answered below, please also refer to the School Year Handbook listed in the left column of this page for all other general operating questions. 
What is the registration fee?
The discounted registration fee is $35 per child. After the discounted registration period is closed, the registration fee is $45 per child. Registration fees are non-refundable. If you withdraw your child from the program, you will be required to pay an additional registration fee to re-enroll him or her. This policy applies even if the re-enrollment is within the same school year. Back to top

What is the cost for the K-Plus Program?

Can my child use the program on a part time basis?
K-Plus children may use the program on a full-time basis (5 days per week) or on a part time basis (1-4 days per week). Parents must choose which days of the week the child will attend the program. Back to top

Can my child use the program on a drop in basis?
K-Plus children may not use the program on a flex-time, or drop-in, basis due to busing schedules for the school districts. Back to top

Can my child buy lunch at school?
-Plus children may either pack a lunch or buy a lunch in the school cafeteria on a daily basis. Parents may send in a check to set up a lunch account for your child. Back to top

Who will be with my child at lunch time?
At least two K-Plus teachers will be with all of the kindergarten children at lunch time. Back to top

How will my child get from kindergarten to the K-Plus program or vice versa?
When morning kindergarten dismisses, we will pick up the children from their classroom and take them to lunch. K-Plus teachers will eat with the children and have some play time. After lunch, we will deliver the afternoon kindergarten children to their classrooms for kindergarten. Back to top

Can my kindergarten child ride the school bus to and from school if he is enrolled in the K-Plus program?
K-Plus children may ride the school bus with the other elementary school students. AM K-Plus children may ride the morning bus and PM K-Plus children may ride the afternoon bus. If you are not sure of the bus number or time of arrival for your child's bus, please call the bus garage. Back to top

Who will meet my child when he gets off the bus at school in the morning?
A K-Plus teacher will meet the children attending the AM K-Plus program as they get off their buses. The bus garage will supply us with a list of bus numbers that our K-Plus students will be riding in the morning. Back to top

Who will help my child get on the correct bus to come home?
A K-Plus teacher will ensure that the K-Plus children board the proper buses in the afternoon at dismissal. The bus garage will supply us with a list of bus numbers that our K-Plus students will be riding in the afternoon. Back to top
